I will advise on making successful S278/38 (Highways Act 1980) applications to local authorities (mainly London) with in depth tips on what the requirements are for technical approval of works in accordance with standard details and highway legislation such as DMRB, TSRGD 2016 and CDM. Having worked for a number of local authorities I have the experience of understanding what the requirements are in order to obtain approval for highway engineering works for developers, contractors and designers. I have a background in traffic engineering, health & safety, project management and more. I am able to review drawings produced by other parties to ensure they are compliant with highway standards and submit to the overseeing organisation for approval with minimal revisions. Drawings may include pavement and lighting design, site clearance, general arrangement and more. I have lead the design of numerous highway engineering works on behalf of developers and also have experience of approving such designs for local authorities therefore have an excellent all rounded experience in this field.
