Amazon has released their new Brand Registry process. You do need a trademark in order to get brand registered.
Registering your brand is a great way to prove your ownership of the products you’re selling.
NOTE: The charges for filing trademark, copyright and patent are different. Office Action, SOU will require extra gigs.

name, email, physical address and contact number to do the filing with USPTO (United
States Patent and Trademark Office) under his/her name or under his/her company, and this information will be asked
